Each quarter, we will provide a product update regarding the latest features and enhancements we have pushed out. Our product team has been working hard to incorporate partner feedback to enhance existing functionality and deploy new features to provide more visibility into the networks that you are securing.
Here are some of the new items that we have released in Q1 2025:
We have added better functionality to our subscriptions to allow our MSP/MSSP partners to easily create parent/child subscriptions with granular permissions. This allows more flexibility for co-managed IT arrangements and end-clients who want view access to the Shield Cyber platform.
To allow our partners to create a true vulnerability management program, we have added a risk management feature to Shield Cyber. This allows users to "Create Risk Adjustments" on individual (or groups of) vulnerabilities along with the rationale for the changes. This allows our partners to talk to their clients and accept risk or change criticality based on the business-specific context of the vulnerability. All changes are logged in the Shield Cyber platform with rationale (such as "client accepts risk", "false positive", "risk-based exception", etc.
We have updated our Shield Cyber agent to allow for better performance and auto-updating capabilities. The new agent will allow Shield Cyber to rapidly add functionality and ingest more updated threat-intelligence feeds. The new agent will be the foundation of our OS and 3rd party patching capabilities (which will be released in the coming months).
We added 30+ new checks within Active Directory based on what the Shield team has seen from attackers and other researchers. This brings our library to 120+ dynamic checks within Active Directory with more added every quarter.
We will continue to update you on relevant Shield product updates each quarter. For the latest product updates, please visit the What's New page on the Shield documentation site. Exciting updates are coming to the platform, and you will see more communication regarding the progress we have made, as well as relevant threats and vulnerabilities that may be impacting the networks you are working to secure.
